What's Happening in Palos Heights
Property Tax Appeal Seminar for Worth Township residents has been scheduled for Monday, Aug 4 at 6:30 pm at the Recreation Center, 6601 W. 127th St. Learn how to appeal your property tax assessment. Cook County Board of Review will be on hand to answer questions. Attendees may fill out and submit appeal forms that night. The seminar is free. For questions, please call Maggie at 312-603-3651
National Night Out at the Palos Heights Police Station, Tuesday, August 5, 6 - 9 pm. Meet your local police officers, take a tour of the police station, interactive events for children and adults, Child Safety Seat Inspections, K-9 demonstration, food, prizes and more. All are welcome!

Given the growing demand for recreation programming, coupled with feedback from the community opinion research, a proposal has been developed to remodel, repurpose and expand the City's Recreation Center on 127th Street.
Alderman Bob Basso, Chairman of the Buildings & Grounds Committee, encourages residents to sign up for the Adopt-A-Highway Program offered through the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). Information about the program can be on their website.
