50's STREET DANCE was a huge success. Many thanks to all the committee members who worked so hard on coordinating this event.  Click here to view pictures and click here to watch the recorded show by Channel 4.  
 

4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION: Friday, July 3, 4 pm til Midnight at Community Park. Fireworks start at dusk (9:15) from Lake Katherine.  Parade will start at 10 am on July 4th at 126th & Harlem.  Picnic in the Park immediately following the parade at Memorial Park.

2009/10 VEHICLE STICKERS must be purchased and displayed by July 16, 2009.  Avoid the late charge (double the price) which will be effective July 17.  If you have any questions, please call City Hall at 361-1800.  Click here for application.

CHIPPER SERVICE will begin on Monday, April 6 starting at one end of the city and working its way thru to the other, which typically takes about a week or so. Allied Waste will begin picking up yard waste on April 1 on your regularly scheduled garbage day. 

Palos Heights Celebrating it's 50th Anniversary since becoming incorporated in 1959.  Many other community organizations in the city are also celebrating monumental anniversaries.  For a detailed list of events, please click here.

The U.S. Census Bureau is preparing for the 2010 Census by checking/verifying all addresses. Canvassers will be in the area thru July.
