Winners of the Annual Tree Decorating Contest: 1st Place, St. Alexander's Girl Scouts; 2nd Place, Cub Scout Pack 3729; 3rd Place, Girl Scout Troop 60467. We would like to thank all the groups that participated. The tress had very creative themes and look very festive.
Holiday Hayride at Lake Katherine, Friday, Dec 13, at 6:30 and 7:30 pm. The annual hayride will feature a ride through the streets of Palos Heights singing Christmas carols, returning to LK to enjoy food, crafts and other activities. Cost $8 per person. For more info, please call 361-1873.
Christmas Care Program & Coat Drive, sponsored by the Worth Township Youth Commission. Donations of new toys and clothing for all ages can be dropped off through Dec. 21 and will be distributed to families with young children experiencing financial difficultis. Coats, hats, scarfs, and gloves will be accepted through January 31 and will be distributed to those in need. For further details or questions, please call 371-2900.

Ridgeland Ave Corridor Study and Community Survey: The City is working with neighboring communities to study Ridgeland Avenue between 79th and 135th Streets. The goal is to transform Ridgeland Avenue into a street that better accomodates businesses, neighborhoods, commuters, bikers and walkers.Click here to take the survey
