What's Happening in Palos Heights
Elim Dutch Festival, Saturday, Sept. 27, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.13020 S. Central Avenue. Annual festival features a parade, activities for adults and children, Dutch treats and much more. Click here for more details and schedule of the days events.
Fall Fishing Classic at Lake Katherine, Saturday, Sept. 27, 7 a.m. to Noon. Limited to 125 anglers. Fee: $100 which includes lunch. For more info or tickets, call 708-361-1873.

Given the growing demand for recreation programming, coupled with feedback from the community opinion research, a proposal has been developed to remodel, repurpose and expand the City's Recreation Center on 127th Street.
