Palos Heights' Farmers Market is open for the season, Wednesdays, 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Municipal Parking Lot, 12217 S. Harlem Avenue, Rain or Shine.
Monarch Butterfly Festival, Sunday, Sept. 13, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission $6, children 3 and under free. Attractions include: butterfly tent, rock climbing wall, hayrides, scarecrow making, canoe & kayak rentals, pontoon boat rides, children's games and crafts, and food vendors.
