ABSENTEE VOTING
Palos Heights residents who are unable to attend the polls on election days are able to vote at City Hall for the two weeks preceding each election.

ANIMAL LICENSE*
Pursuant to a city ordinance you must register your dog. Registration is renewable once a year and costs $5.00 per dog or cat. A rabies certification card is required.

BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATION*
Yearly payment for Palos Heights business licenses is collected by City hall. Information is available about fees and businesses holding licenses.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST*
FOI request forms are available at City Hall and are required to obtain municipal documents.

HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS
Application forms are available for 90 day temporary handicapped parking cards. This same application may be sent to the Secretary of State for permanent handicapped parking cards.

RTA PASSES FOR SENIOR DISCOUNT RATE
Residents of 65 years of age and older can have their photo taken for free for a Pace Reduction Pass.

WATER BILL SENIOR DISCOUNTS
Residents, of at least 65 years of age, living within the corporate limits of the city are eligible for a 25% reduction on their water bill portion only (not your sewer portion). A tax bill is required for proof of residency and proof of age.
