I am pleased to welcome you to our beautiful city and our new website. As you become more acquainted with our community, I am certain you will find that Palos Heights is a great place to live, work, and play.

The City of Palos Heights offers a variety of services and programs to its residents: excellent schools, including Trinity Christian College, a new library, churches, and medical and business professionals with thriving businesses. Take time to visit the ample choices of shopping, both usual and unique, and the fine array of restaurants that are sure to satisfy all your dining requirements.

Because Palos Heights is located amidst many forest preserves, it is also known as the City of Trees. You can experience the beauty of the area by strolling or biking along the bike paths or by visiting any one of our beautiful parks. Our own Lake Katherine Nature Preserve offers a waterfall and lake, walking trails, the E.G. Simpson Clubhouse and Nature Center in a naturally spectacular scenic setting. The entrance to this 80-acre nature preserve is located at Route 83 (college Drive) and 75th Avenue.
