Chipper Service

The City Palos Heights will commence  curbside pickup for brush on April 4th, 2022 until the last week of October. Collection will be made by the Public Works Department once a week, weather permitting. Residents are instructed to place the trimmings in an organized pile near the edge of the road or behind the curb in front of their property with the stub end facing the street. Patience is requested after heavier storms due to large amount of debris collected.

Brush pickup is for branches only (not entire trees) and for branches cut down by residents and not tree cutting services. If you have a tree cut down, the tree service must remove all branches and logs. The City does not have resources or equipment to pick up logs, stumps, or branches more than 6 inches in diameter.
