It is ComEd's mission to restore power outages as soon as possible. Residents are asked to call in their power outages immediately to 800-334-7661.

Two important things all residents should know:

• ComEd customers can sign up to receive outage alerts on the mobile phones
• ComEd's outage map is available to all customers
